The FYI directory is a new, unique directory for people and professionals across Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre. It brings together information about a wide range of local health and council services, community clubs, social groups, childcare providers, wellbeing activities and events into one comprehensive source. Blackpool Family Information Service is an information and guidance service for parents and carers, young people and children and professionals working with families.

They provide free and confidential information and advice to help Blackpool children, young people and their families find the services they require.

The Family Information Service provides clear, accurate and up to date information on all registered childcare and early years providers in Blackpool.

They also provide information on family services which may meet the needs of parents/carers and children in Blackpool. The FIS holds the Blackpool Children and Family Directory and also the Young People’s Positive Activity Directory called RuBothered. RUBothered is packed with information about hundreds of regular activities and one off events for young people in Blackpool. Alongside this there is a separate list of events at The Oracle – all our directories have a presence on Facebook and Twitter.

Additionally we hold the Local offer directory which is a one stop shop to enable parents and young people to access services that are available for children and young people with disabilities.
