This year we will spend time developing skills using a variety of materials. Depending on the class you are in, we work with watercolor, pastels, papier-mâché, clay, printmaking, collage and more!

ABOUT MS. TORRES
I am thrilled to teach Art at Crocker Middle School! This is my second year here and I am enjoying getting to know the community. Prior to joining the teach at Crocker, I taught Art and Ceramics at La Entrada Middle School and at Menlo-Atherton High School. I LOVE supporting students in the creation of new works of art. I believe art is an awesome tool for expressing our life experiences. I very much appreciate the observations and adventures students bring to their work.
In addition to Art, I also have a passion for organic farming, healthy eating, hiking and stand up paddle boarding. After living in NYC for 10 years, I am happy to be back in the Golden State!
