Independent Research GT and Intern/Mentor GT
These programs are by application and require teacher letter of recommendation. Applications are available through this the site and are due by February 6th, 2023.
Independent Research GT
A course for any grade level! Students self-select topics to research, they design hypotheses and thesis statements, they cultivate sources, they collect and interpret original data, and they share the conclusions in a paper, a presentation, and a product.
Intern/Mentor GT
A course exclusively for juniors and seniors! Students pair the research course curriculum (students self-select topics, design thesis statements, cultivate sources, collect and interpret original data, and share the conclusions in a paper, presentation and product) with an internship which offers a chance to work side-by-side with a professional in the field.
