For Peer Assistant and teacher/department aiding forms click here. Form will need to be printed and returned. Students can also access paper copied in Student Services.
Juniors and Seniors are eligible to serve as Peer Assistants working with students who receive Special Education Services. For more information regarding the responsibility of a Peer Assistant please contact Jeremy Snyder, the Special Education Instructional Team Leader at jeremy_snyder@hcpss.org or by stopping into room 110.
Only seniors are eligible to serve as teacher/department aides. Below is a list of areas typically open for student aides during the school year and run on a "first come first serve" basis (pending teacher or department approval) and scheduled only once it is determined it will work in a student's schedule (generally scheduled May/June once the master schedule of classes is approved and released). First come, first serve priority is based on the date the aiding form is turned into the student's counselor.
