For students who would like to enroll in the Early College Program in Cybersecurity at the ARL for the 2023-2024 school year (rising 10th graders) add ECP99 when submitting their course requests for next year. This will enroll them in English 10 CC and Speech Communication 1 at the Applications and Research Lab. The students will not need to be enrolled in English 10 at their home high school. Rising 11th graders are still taking HCC courses at ARL and should have CT-999-0 in their requests. Lastly, 12th graders have NO classes at ARL. They are at HCC the whole day. If they play sports and need to maintain eligibility, they will need to take a period 6 course at your school or an evening school course.

Students who complete the ECP program in Cybersecurity follow a prescribed sequence of courses through their home school (9th grade), home school and the ARL (10th grade) and through HCC (11 & 12) grade. After graduating from GHS, the ECP student takes an additional year of prescribed courses at HCC, finishing their first year of college earning an Associates Degree in Cybersecurity.
