Career Academies

Students must indicate interest in participating in a career academy PRIOR to February 7th in order to be included in early scheduling. Student enrollment is run on a lottery system and scheduled in February from the pool of interested students. Waiting lists can be long for those who wait!!

A Career Academy offers high school students with similar interests a unique opportunity to prepare for college and entry-level employment in the specific career areas listed below. Each Career Academy offers a recommended sequence of courses, internships, capstone project, or research project related to students' career goals, and the opportunity to earn college credit and/or industry certification while in high school.

All ARL based Career Academies are Junior/Senior academies. Students interested in the ECP program should indicate interest to their counselor in their freshman year. Go to Specialty Programs - Jumpstart/Dual Enrollment for detailed information about the ECP program.
