Architecture Project
Project Information
Working with an amazing group of architects from local firms TinkerMa,Franklin Architects, Hefferlin Kronenberg Architects, Cogent Studio, Elemi Architects, and Antidote, STEM student teams will design architectural solutions to reimagine living spaces for Chattanooga’s houseless population. With the help of the Chattanooga Design Studio and local nonprofit Help Right Here, students will design a site plan and tiny houses for the community. For the school partner, the focus is on the application of the architectural design process to discover a solution that meets the needs of stakeholders. For the STEM School, the focus is on the collaboration, innovation, and critical thinking skills demonstrated by the student teams.
