EPB Holiday Windows

Project Information:

If visiting the holiday windows is one of your family traditions, you already know how big a deal it is for

Chattanooga. For this project, your team will create design concepts for each of the windows. The keys to a

great window are engaging ideas, motion and lighting. Each window needs over a dozen moving elements and

needs to last for the entire holiday season. EPB believes in collaboration and will conduct two design reviews

during the quarter. These reviews provide an opportunity for user feedback and brainstorming for new ideas.

The best part of all: each team will work with EPB over the 2nd quarter to bring your ideas to life for the entire

city to see. If you love developing creative ideas, making things, and being part of a Chattanooga tradition, then

this might be the project for you! For EPB, the focus is on a collaborative design process that yields creative,

engaging, and feasible concepts for the holiday windows. For the STEM School, the focus is on the

collaboration skills demonstrated by the student teams.
