STEM teams will partner with Zoe Angling Group to create modular cooler pieces. Students will create pieces to affix to dovetail mounts on the cooler. Zoe Angling Group is a benefit corporation that is focused on innovative opportunities in the fishing market. Their goal is to create jobs for marginalized and exploited individuals, which includes partnerships around the globe that implement sustainable practices, fair trade structures, and living wage jobs. STEM students will have the opportunity to learn about Benefit Corporations and how Zoe Angling Group has created and maintained a sustainable world-wide living wage initiative. Students will follow the STEM tenant guidelines for collaboration, critical thinking, and innovation as they work together with Zoe Angling Group to create modular cooler pieces.
