Veteran & Military Resource Center

Kapi‘olani Community College (Kapiʻolani CC)  is a state-approved institution for veteran education benefits. After you apply to Kapiʻolani CC and are accepted, we have a Veteran & Military Resource Center (VMRC) here to help you navigate the VA Education Certification process. 

The VMRC at Kapiʻolani CC is designed to act as a liaison between the students and The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). VA determines eligibility, processes payments, and issues checks to all veterans and their dependents.  The VMRC is located in ‘Iliahi 112 and provides support to student veterans, active duty military, and their spouses & dependents who are eligible for military service connect education benefits. The center provides services such as general counseling, outreach, academic advising, course certification, and a dedicated space to study, use the computer, and network.
