Prepare

Once you have been accepted on exchange, your host campus NSE coordinator will send instructions on the next steps you will need to complete, which may include: 

• Applying to the host campus.

• Applying for campus housing (if needed).

• Selecting courses and preparing to register.

• Submitting a health clearance (if required).

Additionally, you will need to complete these requirements at UHM:

• Complete Academic Planning for your exchange.

• Complete Outbound Risk and Release Form (required).

• Apply for financial aid and scholarships through the UHM Financial Aid Services (if needed).

• Review your insurance to be sure it will cover you on exchange.

• Attend the mandatory pre-departure orientation.
