iMovie, old cardboard project, and an iPad to record and edit on iMovie.

Let Shawn and Caleb edit our script, then record the video on iMovie and edit it.
What unique qualities will your project have?
Editing to it and adding excitement advertising the video.
Using iMovie, I created an commercial with my cardboard safe because my group and I created an cardboard safe for our first project and now advertising the safe. We advertised how the safe will work and what it will do.
During this process, I learned how to work on iMovie. I learned how to edit using iMovie and airdropping it to my group/classmates. I also learned what to do if the commercial wasn't loud enough, we higher the sound effect or voice feature.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because we're editing and learning how to edit on iMovie, making our video. Also we showed what our safe could be marketed as for stuff to keep your stuff in or keep social security number in there too. It connects to marketing because we're selling our safe and advertising it to show what you get, if you buy the safe.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the difficulty of working with my group and preforming the video. I was able to do it by helping Liam with the script and the video with Shawn and Caleb. I also overcame how to edit on iMovie and send it to the right people with airdrop.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the script of our project was and who made the script. The reason why I would change it is because the script was shorter and poorly made. Took us about 17 times to get our video through. So, I'm planning to get it in first try next time.

My project connects to the advertising/marketing CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in advertising/marketing, because we're advertising our safe and how it works.
