Using a Makey Makey , we created a button that makes the emergency meeting sound from the game "Among us" because we enjoy the game and wanted to make some thing from it. The sound is a sign that a meeting will take place. It grabs everyone's attention.

During this process, I learned how to code better using the Makey Makey coding soft wear . This is because we were forced to use this software. _________

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because we had to create the button from scratch. Literally, we had to make the code.

A challenge I overcame on this project was I couldn't find the conductive materiel I needed. I was able to do it by combining two very conductive materials. The materials we combined were play dough and tin foil.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the simplicity of the design so that it was more difficult to copy. . The reason why I would change it is because our design is too easy to make . The design is large and clunky to hang on to and it fell apart too easily.

My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project also connects to careers in game development.
