Using the makie-makie, I created a play-doh piano because i was inspired to make it by my band teacher.
During this process, I learned that you need ground and you also need to attach a gator clip to the object you want to use . This learning was important because it allows the computer to work .
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because i created a piano using play doh.
A challenge I overcame on this project was connecting ground to tin foil and to my hand . I was able to do it by taking a metal sheet of tin out of the box and roiling it up and raping it around my hand/wrist.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how i made the piano and how i routed the wires. The reason why I would change it is because the method i used was very ineffective. I would change it by zip-tie the wires together and make the keys thinner and a little farther apart because the wires would look more tidier and it would prevent the keys from touching each other which in turn would prevent them from playing together .
This project connect to carriers in engineering and computer design . This is important because these jobs pay well and is a fun job.
