Daily Log
Day 1: We figured out how to run the drone.
Day 2: We practiced flying it down the hallway and tried landing it on a table.
Day 3: We practiced driving the drone again and thought about what the obstacle course would look like.
Day 4: We ran the drone again but the motor stopped working. We decided to end the project as incomplete.

Reflection
A Challenge We Overcame
While driving our drone, we were really struggling to get the drone to pair with the iPad. Then we figured out that you need to change the WIFI on the iPad to the Drone. This actually allowed us to drive the drone and start or project.
What Was Learned
During this project, I learned how to pair a drone with an iPad and physically run the drone. Also, we learned to persevere especially because we had no idea how to do anything. When we continue this project, we will learn more and new things about the Drones that we will get.
Description of Project
We drove a drone and planned on taking a video from the drone going through a little obstacle course. We had to learn how to pair the drone with the iPad and figure out how to run it. Halfway through, the motor of our drone stopped working so we have an incomplete project. We took a video of the non functional motor. We will continue this project when we get the new Drone.
Something We Would Do Differently
We would probably maybe try to get better at running the drone before we try to go through hoops. When we tried to put them through the hoops, we were struggling a lot. I think we got it through once... Anyway, to make a decent video we will have to get better.
Standards in the Project
I think that during this project we were Empowered Learners and Knowledge Constructor. We were Empowered Learners because we were struggling to even run a drone. We've barely ever driven a drone before so it took some serious learning. We are Knowledge Constructors because we gained new knowledge and learned new things.
CTE and Career Connections
CTE connections would be Cybersecurity. I'm thinking this because if you use a drone with a camera, it could take pictures from above and report any interesting/sketchy activity. The Career connection could be drone photography and film making or a search and rescue team. You could take images from above during movies to give a different perspective. Also, go and find people who need help in the wild.
