Description of the standards my project used
I think a Class Standard that my project used was Digital Citizen. I think this because Digital Citizens are people that use technology to learn new things. I am doing that by putting information on my website that explains what I did with the Micro Bits. Another Class Standard that my project used was Computational Thinker. I think this because we are using the computer and coding to think new things and learn new things.
Description of creation
I created multiple things while using my Micro Bit. I tried many different things using similar code. I made my name go across the screen. That was my first project. My second project was making a dot grow bigger and bigger. Then I made dice but I didn't include a video. My last thing I did was I made a spiral of dots.
Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself
What materials will you need for your project?
I am using a Micro Bit and a computer.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I want to try a bunch of different things using the Micro Bit.
What unique qualities will your project have?
I will write changes to the code to make it unique.
Daily Log
Day 1: I made my list of 25
Day 2: I made my code for my name and I got my Micro Bit to play it. Then I took a video.
Day 3: I got my Micro Bit to make a dot get bigger and smaller.
Day 4: I program a 8 sided dice. I played with the code and learned some things.
Day 5: I programmed two dots two travel around the screen.
Day 6: I programed a spiral on my Micro Bit.
Reflection
Something I would do differently
Something I would do differently is that I would try to do more complicated things. I think I didn't challenge myself as much as would have liked. Mostly I did simple coding but I wish I had done some harder projects.
The CTE and Career connection
The CTE that connects with Micro Bits is probably Computer Programming. The career connection is a video game designer. I think it is a video game designer because you use coding to make video games.

This is a slideshow of all of my videos together.
A challenge I overcame
One of the challenges I overcame was I couldn't figure out how to get the downloaded code to flash onto my Micro Bit. I had to ask Mr. Renner a bunch of times. It took a lot of trial and error but eventually I figured it out.
What I learned
There are so many things that I learned. The main thing that I learned was how to code and make a Micro Bit do the things I wanted to do. I have never never used Micro Bits before and I learned a lot. I also learned that If I try something harder, it takes longer.
