7P9- Stop Motion

Using IMotion, toy animals, toy cars, and a tablet, I created a short film of animals fighting cars because it represents nature taking back the Earth from humans.

During this process, I learned how to operate IMotion and how many pictures is needed to make a three minute video.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital citizen because the story line and characters were created by us and not copyrighted.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting all of the pictures done. I was able to do it by putting on auto clicker really fast and persevering.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the story line. The reason why I would change it is because I originally had a different idea so I would have liked to do that idea.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in 2D animation because 2D animators deal with moving the characters and edit the videos.
