I am working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need an iPad, iMovie, sound, music, and creative commons pictures.

What is your plan to create in this project?

I plan on creating a video on my pets.

What unique qualities will your project have?

My project will be unique because it will have things talored to me specificly.

DAY 1

We Created our websites. We logged into the iPads and downloaded some images. Then we added them to iMovie.

Day 2

Today I picked out pictures to go into my movie. I also learned how to add sound. Adding sound tomorrow.

Day 3

Today I added sound affects and background music. I also added a voice recording. Took me several tries to perfect.

Day 4

Today I had a little trouble with my tablet but we fixed it. Then I finished adding the voice overs. After that I adjusted the audio and exported the video. Once that was finished I was done.

Using iMovie, I created a video of all of my pets because I have quite a few of them so I wanted to share about them.

During this process, I learned how to add sound effects and voice overs. Before this project I could not figure out how to add sound and audio to videos.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovated designer because I have a unique video that is not similar to anyone else's video. The video also contains facts about my life.

A challenge I overcame on this project was being loud enough for people to hear me in a voice over. I was able to do it by clicking on the audio and adjusting settings that popped up. Eventually I turned the volume up on the voice overs.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the sound effects for the pictures. The reason why I would change it is because the sound effects didn't match all to well, so I would definitely try to look for ones that match more.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.

My project connects to careers like Boom Operator because I had to hold the microphone on the tablet and record my voice.
