What materials will you need for your project?
I will need my merge cube, iPad, and delightex edu app.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I am going have characters white water rafting down a river that was created by a downpour.
What unique qualities will your project have?
My project is going to be unique because it will be able to move the boat as you turn the cube.
I started to answer my planning questions and make my list of ten good ideas.
I started my cube and decided on my story to be whitewater rafting and created the characters.
Today I made my plan for my story and continued working on my cube.
I worked on the second side of my cube.
I finished the third side of my cube.
I finished the fourth side on my cube.

Using iPad, iMovie, delightex edu, and merge cube, I created a story about characters getting thrown into a boat and going down a waterfall. I did this because I wanted to be creative with a story. I wanted mine to be a story that no one had already made and I did that by adding unicorns and Dracula then making them go whitewater rafting.
During this process, I learned I am really bad at augmented reality. It made me mad really easy trying to move the characters around on the cube. I also could never figure out how to add landscapes.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because when the app didnt have anything for a puddle of water I made a different solution instead and thought of a different way to do it. I used planet earth and turned it to the ocean then placed it in a certain position to make it look like a puddle of water.
A challenge I overcame on this project was creating puddles of water. The app does not have a puddle as a thing you can add to your story. It took me two days to come up with a solution and I was able to do it by finding an earth, turning it to the most oceany part then just inserting it a few times to make a big puddle.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my story. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could have come up with a better idea than deer and pirates going down a waterfall. I would change it to something along the lines of magic tree house because it seems easier and better to follow along with.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because digital multimedia is content that combines multiple forms of media, such as text, images, and video, in a digital format and I did the same thing on my merge cube.
My project connects to careers in AR content creating. This is because AR content creators develops digital elements like 3D models, animations, and images that are layered onto the real world. My merge cube is a model that you can animate just like what AR content creators do every day.
