PLANNING QUESTIONS
I am working on this project with Nathan.
The materials I will need for this project is Legos, an iPad, and a robot .
Our plan for this project is to create a "car" so it looks like whoever is inside is driving the robot.
Our project will be unique by the details we add to it with Legos.
Day1: Did my 25 things and planning questions.
day2: we started messing with different codes we can use on the robot, we also started the design on the robot
day3: We started building something on the robot, we decided to make a car
day4: We added more details to the top of the robot and we coded it to go around the stool thingy.
day 5: we did the rest of the code and recorded it going around the stool, I did my reflection too, and turned it in.
Day 2
When we started building
Day 3
we added people, it looks like its they are driving the robot
Day 4 and 5
the code.
Final product
using a Robot app and legos , I created a "car" robot because its on of the only projects I haven't done yet. It was kind of hard but Nate and I were able to figure it out. And I think it turned out pretty good.
During this process, I learned How to code a robot to make it do what you want. We had the robot go around a stool type thing. In order to do that I had to figure out how to code it to do exactly what I needed it to do.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I had to construct knowledge together to code the robot right. and we had to think about what we were going to put on the top of the robot.
A challenge I overcame on this project was when Nate missed a day and we had nothing done. I was able to do it by working way harder the rest of the days. And staying on task of course.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the details on the top of it. The reason why I would change it is because, yes it looks like a car but I think we could've added a little more detail to it. I do think it looks good but I think we need a tiny bit more details.
