PLANNING QUESTIONS
On this project I am working with Jayla
For this project we will need modeling clay and an Ipad
Our plan is to create a stop motion of a car crashing into a tree
Our project is unique because of the details we add to it and how long we make it
Day 1: Did my 25 things and planning questions, we also started working on building the "road" and car.
Day 2: We made the tree and the flames we also filmed it
Day 3: Jayla sent the video to me and I added it to my website and did half of the reflection
Day 4: Had to edit a piece of the video out and did the other half of my reflection
day 5: checked it on my guest website ad turned it in
Finished product
Using modeling clay , I created a stop motion because Jayla and I thought it would be fun. It was fun to make the stuff out of clay. And filming it was pretty cool.
During this process, I learned what stop motion was and how to do it. I knew the basics of it but i didn't really know what it was. I also learned how you filmed it,that was pretty cool.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer because we designed a story to tell with clay. And we designed the clay to how we wanted it, and just the little details.
A challenge I overcame on this project was when we put the car on fire before it crashed. I was able to do it by just cutting it out. You can still tell what happened but it just doesn't have as much detail.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long the video it. The reason why I would change it is because its just really really short. I know stop motion isn't supposed to be supper long the fact we lost a chuck of it made it pretty short. Cut a whole 2 seconds off a 4 second video.
