Planning Questions
I am working on this project by myself
Materials I will need for this project is Tinker Cad and a 3D printer
My plan for this project is to redo my first project so people can see the progress I've made
My project will be unique because I'm trying to see my own progress
Day 1: I did my 25 things and planning questions.
day 2: I made the cup and started on the dice
day 3: I did the 4 dots on the dice
day 4: I fixed the 2 on the dice to make it look more like an actual dice. I also put 3 and 5 on to it.
day 5: I made the dots holes so it will roll better. I Also took the measurement for the cup and made it exact.
day 6: Sent it it Mr. Renner to print
day 7: I got my project back and took pictures of it, I did my refelction and turned it in.
Day 2
When I added the 1 and 2 side
Day 3
The 4th side
Day 4
the 3 and 5
day 5
the holes in the dice
Day 1 from the first project
day 5 from last project
Final Product
the final product from the last project
Using tinkercad , I created a dice and a cup because it was my first project that I ever did and I wanted to re do it . When I first did it was so bad. So when I re did it to see how much I've improved throughout the year.
During this process, I learned why it wouldn't roll last time. I realized that no matter how good the dots look if they are not holes it wot roll. So I made them holes this time.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because I constructed knowledge together to figure out how to make it better. And to make it roll.
A challenge I overcame on this project was when the holes weren't working correctly. I was able to do it by just making one hole deeper. But when I did that there was a little more film in it and I had to get it out and it took a little more time but that's fine.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the dice is shaped. The reason why I would change it is because it is kind of lop sided and the sides aren't all even. But overall, I am pretty proud of it.
