PLANNING QUESTIONS
I am working by myself
I will need the 3D printer and Tinkercad
My plan is to create a dice game thingy
My project will be unique because I've never seen anyone make a dice and a cup
day one: I made my list of 25 and did my planning questions also messed around with tinkercad
day 2: I picked my item that I'm making and made the cup first. Then I made the dices
day3: put some of the numbers on the dice.
day4: changed the real numbers and put dots.
day 5:I finished the dice and cup and sent it to Mr. Renner
day 6: I print got the final copy
day7: started and finished my sentence starters
Using tinkercad , I created a dice and a cup because wanted to try to make a game piece. I based it off of Yahtzee's game. The point is to put the dice in the cup and shake it.
During this process, I learned that a dice is not at all easy to make. I learned how to 3D print. I tried my best but it really didn't work.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor because i learned a lot and had to problem solve.
A challenge I overcame on this project was when I didn't know what I was doing I had to think of ways to make it better. I was able to do it by asking for help and looking for other ways to solve my problem. The project doesn't look the best but I did the best i could.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the dots on the dice and where I put them. The reason why I would change it is because they are not straight and popping out way to much .The dice doesn't even look like a dice.
