What is your plan to create in this project?
Our plan to create in this project is to make a story out of clay
What unique qualities will your project have?
clay figures that combine and make different things and a story with the clay figures.
Day 1- worked on website
Day 2- Learned how to use iMovie
Day 3- worked on our project
day 4- worked on our project more
Day 5- restarted and got over 100 frames done
Day 6- worked on our project more
Day 7- We are almost done with our project
Day 8 - Finished in iMotion, we are editing now
Day 9- We finished editing and got our video done
Using iPad, clay, aluminum foil, green screen, Dry erase board, dry erase markers, and eraser. I created a story with a clay figure that transforms into a bunch of different figures before he gets to the final figure. We thought it was a good idea and it was a lot of frames so we could get the right amount of photos.
During this process, I learned how to use iMotion by watching my peers and asking questions on how to save the video, because I didn't know how to save the video. I also didn't know how to get into the same video the next day. I asked Izzy for help and Mackenna and I figured out how to open the video back up.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because we did not copy other peoples work and turn it in as our own. We did the work and turned the project in as our own.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to save the video and continue working on it throughout the week. I was able to do it by asking Izzy how to save my work and she showed me how to. The next day Mackenna and I, played around with it and figured out how to open our work back up.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the project we did and how many times we started over on the project. The reason why I would change it is because we started over like 2 or 3 times and it took a lot of our time we could have been working. The project we chose was kind of boring and I want to do something a little more interesting and make people want to watch it and like it, but I could not think of anything interesting to do.

My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. Because we built our characters.
My project connects to careers in Engineering Design because we created and built the characters we used for the stop motion. My project ties to Engineering Design because we built our own characters and not other peoples character.
