Day 1 - started planning
Day 2- Started our project
Day 3- Worked on our main project
Day 4 - finished main project working on the shoe box
Using cardboard, hot glue guns, and an iPad, I created Cardboard shoes because We thought it would be a good idea.
During this process, I learned how to make shoes with a group of people.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project tied to Global Collaborator because We shared our tools and ideas with our group and class.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to fit the pieces together so they work. I was able to do it by learning from my mistakes.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my project around to make it better. The reason why I would change it is because I didn't like the colors or build of our project.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Construction Trades CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in construction trades because we were building shoes out of cardboard.
I learned how to blend paint together to make a new color, I learned how to make shoes out of cardboard, I learned how to work with a team better.
