My Story plan
Scene 1 There at the house and the little kid said " I want a dog"
Scene 2 They are driving to go pick up the dog.
Scene 3 They arrive at the house with the dogs
Scene 4 She picks out the dog
Scene 5 They are running and playing in the front yard
Scene 6 She is getting yelled at to feed her dog
Using My computer , iPad, Cospaces, and the merge cube, I created a story about a girl picking out a dog, playing with the dog. The girls is also doing other responsibilities with the dog. I chose this story because I thought it was a good idea and it was the only thing I could think of.
During this process, I learned how to use a merge cube and make a story out of objects and connect it to the merge cube. I also learned how to rotate the merge cube with out the objects sliding off the side. I learned how to group the objects too.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I created a story with the objects that I found in the library.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to connect objects to the cube and it not sliding off the side. I was able to do it by attaching the objects to the cube, so it would not slide off the slide when you rotate the cube.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change to start a little earlier. The reason why I would change it is because I felt rushed trying to get the cube done and get all the other stuff done too.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in computer programing because I was able to create a school appropriate story about a little kid getting a dog and playing outside with the dog and other responsibilities with the dog. I created this story using the computer, iPad, and merge cube.
