Using Adafruit, Circuit Playground, the circuit, computer, iPad, I created  three projects that are nightlight, clap hands, and siren because the siren sounded fun to make so I made it. I also made clap hand using the microphone.

During this process, I learned how to program and code the circuit  to do different things like if  you clap the lights turn on. I made the lights  flash with a sound that sounded like a siren. I also made the nightlight with a tutorial to help me make it.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  global collaborator because  I am posting my project on my website and I am sharing it with the world.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to use the adafruit website. I also overcame how to download the data on to the circuit because I couldn't figure out how to drag the file to the circuit fruit..  I was able to do it by  asking for help and the people who I asked helped me. I also clicked the file button and it brought up the circuit, so I dragged the file to it and my lights on the circuit worked.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my projects. The reason why I would change it is because they were kind of easy and I want something a little more challenging.  They were also boring. I want something a little more fun and cool to make.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming  CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in computer programming because  I coded and programmed the circuit to do things with its lights.
