7P7 - Circuit Playground

Using Ada Fruit Circuit playground computer, iPad, and the circuit. I created a couple small projects like beat visualizer, button flipper, clap light and a color loop because i didn't have much experience with the circuit play ground express. I mostly used the tutorials but me and my partner did create one of our own codes.

During this process, I learned how to use Ada fruit Circuit playground express. In addition i learned how use Ada fruit to code the circuit. I also learned many different codes and got to see the full breakdown of the them.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Global because i uploaded all my progress to the internet for the world to see. It also ties to Innovative designer because I used tutorials to help me do things a little different on my project i did.

A challenge I overcame on this project was how to use the circuit and Ada fruit. I was able to do it by watching tutorials and using my resources to help me. By watching the tutorials i got used to making and creating the codes.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the difficulty of my codes. The reason why I would change it is because i feel we could've done harder codes than we did. I also would change how many of our own projects we did, we only did one and i wanted to do more but we didn't have enough time.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this CTE connection because I used digital multimedia to create my project. Personally i would not take this CTE program at Hastings High School.

My project connects to careers in  Computer Programming because it deals with programming a code to a different device. I had to code a project and then program the circuit to have that design. They make $61,776 on average per year, personally i would not do this job.
