7P3 - Micro:bit

Using my micro bit, computer.

, I created a name badge, i also created a heart beat and animated animals. Then i created a dice, night light and thermometer because i thought learning how to make these things would be a fun experience.

During this process, I learned how to use and code the micro bit to do what I coded. I even tweaked some codes just a little to do a little bit of a different thing.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because i got to make something with what i was taught and experimented to make something with it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was i couldn't get my micro bit to do the code i did . I was able to do it by watching the videos it provided and used them to help me figure out my problem.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the simple projects i did. The reason why I would change it is because i wanted to try bigger codes to make my micro bit do lot of different things.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in systems analysis because if i ran into a problem i used my resources to fix them, and customized little parts on my codes to make them do different things.
