7P1 - Video

Using  iPad, iMovie Microphone, creative commons, images, sound and music. I created a video about me because I would like others to get to know and understand me.

During this process, I learned how to use I Movie and going step by step learning the breakdown of making a video then created a video by using those steps.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I learned how to make a movie with apps and different technology I haven't used.

A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how add no copy write sounds and sound effects to my video.  I was able to do it by trying to figure it out on my own but failing but I didn't give up and asked a friend and they guided me on what to do.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made the video about.  The reason why I would change it is because I wanted it to be more interesting than it was, and adventure out of my comfort zone and add things I usually would not add.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in video editing because I edited the video until it was how I wanted it down to what sound and titles I liked.
