today we created our 7p5 websites, then did ten good ideas and planning questions.

today we learned how to use tinker cad and we created a planter.

today played around with different ideas and decided to do this one which is a coaster for cups.

today i added all my designs and my saying and now im finished

i created a pair of sunglasses but i am still gonna stick with the coaster.

Using tinker cad, computer, 3d printer, ipad I created a coaster for cups because I want to start using one so I don't ruin my end table. It could also be a great gift for a loved one or friend. It would be very thoughtful because you designed it and created it also.
During this process, I learned how to use and create things on tinker cad. Learning how to use this could help me later on if i go into jobs that deal with 3D Design. I'm glad I can add this to one of the many cool things we have learned this year.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I posted all my progress and the steps oh how to create my project on my website for everyone in the world to see. It also ties to Digital Citizen because I didn't use any copy righted images on my project. As well as Empowered learner because I made a decision on what i wanted to create.
A challenge I overcame on this project was what i was gonna create. I was able to do it by messing around with different ideas and different styles. In addition i found the one i wanted to do after a few other ideas.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change what design i went with. The reason why I would change it is because I felt like i could've added more creative things to it. I also would change the whole design of the sunglasses, i felt i could've done better with it.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to this CTE program because i engineered my project and was creative with it. Personally i would not take this CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Design Engineer because they deal with 3D Design and test the product before producing it to the world. On average a Design Engineer makes $87,066 a year. This job just doesn't peak my interest, so i would not want this job.
