We got our robot (Petunia), figured out how to drive our robot, and took to coding lessons.

Petunia raced our classmates robot Kenzie. Petunia won because Petunias built different.

Petunia beat Kenzie in a new course. This is because Petunia is Da Bomb.

Using my I-pad and a dash bot, I created coding for my dash robot because I wanted to make my robot move without driving it manually. Petunia mainly did races which I thought was fun because I do races myself.
During this process, I learned how to use the dash better than before. When I was in elementary school we only coced the dashes how the teacher told us. I enjoyed having more freedom this time.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I will be sharing my project with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was not having time to finish projects. On one of Petunia's races she didn't finish before the end of class. I was able to do it by creating a new course and focusing better the next day.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change my priorities with robot. The reason why I would change it is because the first day with my robot I mostly just drove it around instead of actually coding it..

My project connects to the Computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because I coded the robot with no one but my partner.
