The people moved because their house broke
ALMOST FINISHED
Done at last
Using Legos, I created a Lego house for the people to live in because they needed a place to live. Their house is 2 Lego blocks high and all photos are taken from above. Their house included 4 beds (one for everyone) and a diner table.
During this process, I learned it is very hard to keep an I-pad centered. It was also hard to make the Lego people move. It was frustrating to make it look like they were walking at the correct speed.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I will be sharing my project with the whole world. Global Collaborator is when students use online tools so they can can share their viewpoint with the entire world on their website. This is shown in my classroom standards subpage.
A challenge I overcame on this project was Lucy being stubborn. This is because she refused to do some of my ideas. I was able to do it by compromising with her so that we could both implement our ideas in the project.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the ending of my stop motion. The reason why I would change it is because our time to finish our project ended before we could finish the final scene. This made the ending feel rushed and not fitting with the rest of the story. In short, I just wish that we spent more time focusing on taking pictures.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School. This is because you can only see my stop motion project on a device. It is only accessible through a video.
My project connects to careers in video editing because I had to edit my video from the original footage. We originally were not supposed to edit but the app we used somehow scrambled our footage. We had to edit our project in the I-Movie app.
