Planning Questions
I am working by myself
I will need a Sphero, an IPad, and a cardboard maze.
I plan to make the Sphero ( by coding) to follow the inside of the maze.
The unique quality will be a video
Daily Questions
Day 1: Work on list 25 and planning questions
Day 2: Working on list of 25
Day 3: Drove the Sphero and coded it
Day 4: Taking pictures and videos
Using Sphero, I created a code to stay in the lines of the maze because that is really the only thing you can do on a Sphero.
During this process, I learned when you program it to turn that the angles are different and you can changed the speed.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Computational Thinker because I had to figure out what speed and angles I had to put in the program to make it stay in the lines of the maze.
A challenge I overcame on this project was coding. I was able to do it by pluging in different angles and speed and eventually I got it .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the coding . The reason why I would change it is because I feel like I could make it do something better than going up, down, side to side on a maze. I
