Using a Circut, I created a sticker because after our mildly failed attempt at shirts, we thought we'd try something a little different. We went with the same idea, just a bit different. We had the Class of 2028 but instead of doing a flower, we decided on a heart.

During this process, I learned how to work with the Cricut and all the little details on it. Now this may be a given but it was quite confusing. The Cricut software we managed to figure out a little on our own but then we had to learn many different smaller things to get our finale result of a sticker. We learned things from making the sticker in the software to how to take apart the print, and making it into a sticker.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to knowledge constructor, when I ran into problems I was able to use the internet and the information around me to figure out solutions. While also in a timely and efficient manner. Even when my partner was gone I was able to overcome the lack of their help and figure out how to do things using the information open to my by the internet. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was not having all the knowledge I needed. I was able to do it by looking for that information online. I used Mr. Renner.com to find other student tutorials. When that couldn't answer my questions I moved to Youtube.com for more tutorials.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change my design. The reason why I would change it is because it was pretty simple. That itself isn't a problem but when it came down to it I had wished I had done some more. My design was a bit hard to take apart and reapply but other than that, mine was a bit underwhelming. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in  Architecture, Industrial designer, and Interior designer.  Engineering design is my favorite CTE program to do in this class.
