7P9 - Makey Makey

Using Makey Makey, I created Jingle Bells because the goal was to make the best thing in the class.

During this process, I learned how to how to code the makey makey to a piano.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because we used online resources to find information we needed to do our project.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing some curial parts to using the makey makey. I was able to do it by using information online as well as asking around in class and seeing what everyone else was doing..

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the noise around us. The reason why I would change it is because a lot of the time we couldn't hear it, you can tell in the video.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in computer programming because we had to code our stuff to be able to play Jingle Bells on the makey makey.
