Using makey makey I created a game and many music things. I did this because the instruments were easy and they were fun to see what kind of music you could create with it. We also did it becasue the music pieces were the easiest but the pacman game was the hardest but it was all really fun.

During this process, I learned how to take a video while your also trying to take a video of whatever your doing. I also learned how to do a pacman game with a makey makey. Another thing i learned was how to make the makey makey actually work.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to _digital citizen because we were safe with the computers, our projects, and the makey makeys. Also all of the things we used we were responsible with and did not create anything inaproppriate.

A challenge I overcame on this project was finding ideas to do. Another challenge was learning how to make the makey makey work because last year i never used one. I was able to do it by looking up project ideas and looking at what other people did and worked on creating that. I also had a good group that had tech last year so they knew what to do.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what instrument projects I did. The reason why I would change it is because we did alot of instruments with the makey makey. Also because alot of other groups did insturments and if we had to change one insturment i would have proably tried to do a guitar.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the digitat multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in game creating and maybe controler creation because every time we did a game we had to have a contoler with it.
