This is a picture of our robot our Robot is not a normal robot. It is a basketball robot our basketball robot is a game that is not like normal basketball either. It is a game where someone is inside moving up, down, and side to side so it is a little harder to make it but still possible.

Using carboard I created a robot so that we could turn it into a challenging game. With somebody in side the robot moving around a little bit. If you play our game you will have the choice of weather you want it to be hard with someone insdie it or easy wih no one inside it.

During this process, I learned that there are alot of differet things u can do with cardboard. For example u could build a robot, a house, or maybe even a office if u wanted to. I also learned that teamwork is like the key ingredient to making this because with out the help of my team it proably would have taken way longer.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because on the way when we made our robot people would see it and comment on things that they thought should be changed and what they liked. when people told us that we added to our robot or fixed things that went wrong .

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to make a boring old robot that took not much time into making a much harder basketball game. Our game robot moves up, down, and side to side.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the design of the project and maybe see if we could bulid other things with card board. The reason why I would change it is because i think it would be cool to try something new with card board or see something else we could do with robots.

My project connects to the engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in a costume design because we made a robot costume that is also a basketball game and someone can get inside as well.
