Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I will be working by myself.

What materials will you need for your project?

I will need my computer, tinkercad, 3d printer, and my iPad.

What is your plan to create in this project?

I'm planning to make a cookie jar

What unique qualities will your project have?

I will be able to fit small cookies in this jar and my project will have a unique design to it.

Day 1

Today I made my list of 10 and finished my planning questions after I brainstormed on what I could make.

Day 2

I decided to make a cookie jar for mini cookies. I logged into tinkercad and started to find shapes for the jar

Day 3

Today I added more details, I decided to make a lid to cover the top of the jar up. I also made the bottom of the jar so it could hold the cookies in it.

Day 4

Today I finshed my jar and i added a tittle to it and i finished the lid and attached all the shapes together.

Day 5

Today I checked if my projected needed to be edited and I did my reflection today and finsished.

Using the 3d Printer, Tinkercad, iPad, Computer, shapes, I created a mini cookie jar with a lid because I wanted to be creative and make something unique. I can store cookies in this 3d jar.
During this process, I learned how to attached different shapes to eachother.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made a solution with technology from a problem I had.
A challenge I overcame on this project was Sizes. I was able to do it by messuring the size making sure it wasn't to big or too small sometimes i would make it big and reassure it again for a good size. .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the outside of the cookie jar. The reason why I would change it is because it seems to plane and I could've attached some decorations to it to not look too plain. .
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Engineering Intern – 3D Printing because it is a brain storming career with 3d printing custom design for a solution to a problem.
