What materials will you need for your project? The circuit playground and my computer

What is your plan to create in this project? Cool color changing stuff on the circuit playground

What unique qualities will your project have? You are able to code stuff on the computer and then it appears on the circuit playground. This makes it similar with the micro bits. Unlike the Micro Bits, actually has all kinds of colors to choose from.

Using  Adafruit and Circuit Playground, I created many projects starting off as one color and turning into other colors because I think it is cool and extradentary.

During this process, I learned what the Circuits were and how to use them.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I used technology, Computational Thinker because the circuits were rally similar to the micro bits so I used what I already knew from the in order to use the circuits, Global Collaborator because I showed everything I did online.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to add what I programmed online to the actual circuits. I was able to do it by reading the thing that came up after I clicked download.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I didn't use a button to tap in order for the colors to turn on. The reason why I would change it is because it would've been a lot cooler.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programing CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Web Developer because they use programing, create new software and if they do well they can show they have a great understanding of their job and work.
