Daily Log

Day1:

Created my website 

Day 2:

Logged into the i-pad I was assigned to and searched up some of my interests. I had to go to tools in order to not get a copyrighted image.

Day 3:

Saved more photos to my I-Pad and got started on my video, but I still hadn't completed it.

Day 4:

Gave my video some more photos and used music that the app, I-Movie had available and also used noises for the background from the same app.

Day 5:

Recorded my first name for my project and completed it.

Using I Movie, I Pad, pictures that are creative commons, music and sounds. I created my about me video that shows off my favorite sweets, cartoons and social media apps because I wanted to teach others about me.

During this process, I learned  how to download copyright free pictures. I did not know how to do this before.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to all seven because I made decisions of what my video was going to show about me, I used creative commons images and music for my video, I added my video to my website, which is free for everyone to view , I did things in order, I created a video fun facts about myself, which will exist even after I pass away, my video is like no one else's and  it is only available on electronics. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was speaking too quietly while I spoke in my microphone. I was able to make it louder by going to the voice edit and made the volume louder than it was originally was.

If I was given a chance to do this again, I would change the fact that I only recorded my voice when I was saying my name. The reason why I would change it is because I feel like my video would've been better if I recorded me saying the captions I texted.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in animation because I created a video using pictures and added features to it and creating cartoons and animations works the same way except you are the one drawing the cartoon and moving it around.
