 What materials will you need for your project? My computer and Tinkercad and the 3D printer

 What is your plan to create in this project?  My plan is to create 3D print outs from Tinkercad using simple shapes in order to create them

 What unique qualities will your project have to separate it from other peoples’ projects?  It will have plants around it

Using Tinkercad and the 3D printer, I created a tiny farm because it could make a great decoration or bribe for my sister.

During this process, I learned how to print 3D objects.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because my project can be seen online, Digital Citizen because I worked and learned online and Empowered Learner because I learned how to print 3D objects.

A challenge I overcame on this project was how to know the size of my project. I was able to do it by asking the teacher how to know the size of my project. He gave me directions to go to the small settings box that would give me the size of my design.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the whole design overall. The reason why I would change it is because I personally feel like I could've made 3D design ball or ornament instead.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in designing everyday projects or toys because I had to make my project 3D like toys and everyday projects.
