Day 1: We started the Chess game.
Day 2: Made more moves and got more into our game.
Day 3: We got further into our game and had had some editing problems.
Day 4: Made more moves and no editing problems.
I was put in check put I have a escape plan.

Using chess pieces, a board, an iPad, and stop motion, I created a stop motion video of a chess game. I made this project because I felt like it would be a good project. I also had some help so a chess game would be a perfect idea.
During this process, I learned that chess is more strategic than I thought it was. I also learned other moves that I did and how not to put myself in a pickle.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I used an iPad, motion, and iMovie. I also took my own photos to make the iMotion video.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the photos being in the wrong place. I was able to do it by editing in iMovie. I also backtracked in iMotion a few times.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the number of photos and some of the moves that I played. The reason why I would change it is because we didn't take our time taking pictures. Some of my moves were not very good and not very smart of me.

My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Video editor because they edit videos like I did for the final product video. Also, they get paid $52,316 annually. They would use like youtube, tiktok, iMovie, iMotion, or any video taking platform.
