When someone claps it will show other colors and has a button to shut the light off.

I messed around with the Circuit Playground Express

I created a code that uses the loud sound activator.

I tweaked the code a little but and starting on my reflection.

I added the video for the project and finished my reflection.

Using Circuit Playground, a computer, and an iPad, I created Clap lights because they are useful for kids' rooms if they want to turn off the lights.
During this process, I learned that the project is like the MicroBit project.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I chose what I wanted to create with my partner. Also, my partner chose what he wanted to create as well and we worked together but working on different codes.
A challenge I overcame on this project was to get the code right and to see what I had to do with the circuit playground. I was able to do it by reading the code and what it was set to do and figuring out what direction. Or, figure out where I have to point it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the coding for some qualities. The reason why I would change it is because the qualities were not how I wanted. Also, I wanted to add more cool qualities.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Computer Programming.
