cardboard project

Using cardboard, I created mini fridge a on the go because it is a fridge with no electricity required. Poor people can use it, or people can use this fridge in poverty, or hot conditions, only if you have access to ice. lt holds about 2 cans.

During this process, I learned that we need to work together to get a job done. We did something cool out of cardboard that  works. lt hold a decent size amount of stuff.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I designed a website to put my creations so other people can see it and copy my design. My project also ties to Creative Communicator because me and my group worked together and communicated to to design it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting supplies. I was able to do it by finding Styrofoam, and bringing it from home. Another challenge I overcame on this project was coming up with what to do so I followed what my partners think and based my ideas of of them.

Given a chance to do this again, I would add wheels and l would make a logo for my group.The reason why I would change it, is because it would look better with wheels. and the reason l would add a logo is it would make our design look better instead of having a diet coke logo on it.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Agricultural Engineer Automotive Engineer Biomedical Engineer Chemical Engineer Civil Engineer Computer Engineer Data Engineer just to name a few of them.
