I will use my name and my name is unique to me.
Project Planning
I made my micro-bit show my name
I created a RPS game
I created a game where you have to try and hit a dot
I made a stopwatch
I made a light sensor
I made a game where you have to try and press a button in exactly seven seconds
Using a Micro Bit, a computer, and an iPad, I created a Rock-Paper-Scissors game for my Micro Bit because I thought it would be fun to play. With those same materials I made a game where you have to try and press the A button to hit the dot when it's in the middle and I made this because it was fun.
During this process, I learned how to code a Micro Bit using blocks and javascript.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Knowledge Constructor because I started from nothing and used tutorials to create many different codes for my Micro Bit.
A challenge I overcame on this project was getting my computer to screenshot. I was able to do it by trying it over and over again.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the code to javascript. The reason why I would change it is because with javascript I think I could do so much more.
