Using a computer, merge cube and iPad, I created a story about animals overthrowing their owner and then over throwing the government that was controlled my the pigs because i read a book that is like it and found it  really interesting. I also made this project about how even a new government isn't always better. Another reason why I made it is n=because I think that we may need to have a revolution based on our current government.

During this process, I learned how to design things on the merge cube. I also learned how to make things cohesive with out making the plot basic. Another thing I learned was how to properly use the website I designed it on.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I made a original story. Another reason is because I designed it on the merge cube.

A challenge I overcame on this project was getting the designing done. I was able to do it by working outside of class. Another way I overcame that challenge was not getting distracted during class.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the story because i found making the side of the cube was way to easy. The reason why I would change it is because i found making the sides of the cube was way to easy. Another thing  I would change is the website because it was very limited in the stuff I could do.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  It connects to this CTE program because I used the computer to program the cube.

My project connects to careers in digital graphic design because we made a design on a website and made it project onto a cube.   It also connects to this job because I was very creative to make my story. Another reason is because I managed my time to get this project done.
