Using drones, I created a video of the drones flying through rings because it is something I have wanted to do for a while and I think it will be a fun and learning experience.

During this process, I learned how to control the drones to the point where I can keep it still for a few minutes. I also learned how to use a drone to fly around and through objects without hitting them.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative communicator because my project could be useful for sending notes or telling someone something with a drone.

A challenge I overcame on this project was controlling the drone perfectly still. I was able to do it by practicing every day until I create a video about the drone. Another problem I had was flying the drones through the rings, we tried doing it many times until we both got it.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change I would change the obstacle coarse. The reason why I would change it is because the obstacle coarse was a little small and the rings were narrow I would change the coarse to be longer.

My project connects to the CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in military drone control.
