Using the I- robot, I created the word APE on a white board because it seems to be something that I enjoy and is something that has meaning to me in a few ways. One being its the name of my partners and I's Favorite game that we like to play.

During this process, I learned how to program a I-robot and have the robot spell out words and basically control the robot to do what we want it to spell or do. This is going to help me with future projects I will be doing.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I just learned how to use the I-robot and I am learning how to program with it.

A challenge I overcame on this project was programming the robot to turn the way I wanted it to. I was able to do it by testing each turn to get the best turn I could fine, however I was not able to get it perfectly straight. Another problem was getting the Robot to move at a constant speed to make the video.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change the perfection on the Ape. The reason why I would change it is because some of the letters are very briefly curved or have a small mistake on the letters. Next time I use the I-robot I will be able to fix those mistakes.
