7P9- Stop Motion

Using clay, Legos, iPad, computer, iMovie, iMotion, I created a Claymation with Legos because I thought that it would be fun to make. I tried to make it to where it was like the movies where it tell a story that is in the future then goes back to the past.

During this process, I learned how to be patient with moving characters super slowly, and waiting on making the words which took for ever. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I have a site that is shared with the world for them to see my stuff.

A challenge I overcame on this project was having patients to build my Claymation. I was able to do it by calming down and watching videos on how other people did theirs, then I was able to get my project done.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long my video is and what I made. The reason why I would change it is because my project did not meet the time limit, I just got bored of using the same characters and how they moved.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Engineering Design because I had to create my characters, the videos, and how they moved. I had to problem solve, think of ideas, and pick what and how to make the characters and how they moved.
